2008: Challenges – Summer Reading Thing Wrap-Up

Well, I had to change my list of books, but I would consider this challenge completed!  I wanted to read 20 books through the summer, and really, I read more than that.  However, here’s my final challenge list.  Click for reviews!

  1. Considering SomeplacElse – B.L. Lindstrom
  2. A Living Nightmare – Darren Shan (Cirque du Freak #01)
  3. Dance with the Devil – Sherrilyn Kenyon (Dark-Hunter #04)
  4. Driving Force – Dick Francis
  5. Full Tilt – Janet Evanovich (Full series #02)
  6. Homeport – Nora Roberts
  7. How I Live Now – Meg Rosoff
  8. New Moon – Stephenie Meyer (Twilight #02)
  9. In the Midst of Death – Lawrence Block (Matthew Scudder #02)
  10. Key of Light – Nora Roberts (Key Trilogy #01)
  11. The Dead Room – Heather Graham
  12. A Paragon of Virtue – Christian von Ditfurth
  13. Undead and Unwed – MaryJanice Davidson (Queen Betsy #01)
  14. Hold Tight – Harlan Coben
  15. The Face of a Stranger – Anne Perry (William Monk #01)
  16. The Finishing School – Michele Martinez
  17. Wed to a Stranger? – Jule McBride
  18. The Good, the Bad, and the Undead – Kim Harrison (Rachel Morgan #02)
  19. The Plot Against America – Phillip Roth
  20. Dead Witness – Joylene Nowell Butler

Not bad for a busy summer!

Out of all these books, it’s hard to pick a favorite.  I really enjoyed The Finishing School. And there was really only one stinker… Wed to a Stranger. There’s a few new authors in there… B.L. Lindstrom, Darren Shan, Meg Rosoff, Heather Graham, Christian von Ditfurth, MaryJanice Davidson, Michele Martinez, Jule McBride, and Joylene Nowell Butler.  I guess I’m not afraid to try new things!
