2005: #33 – I is for Innocent (Sue Grafton)

May 3, 2005January 14, 2021

Book #33 was I is for Innocent, the 9th book in Sue Grafton’s Alphabet series. Another winner from Ms. Grafton. I was afraid I would be bored with this series by now, but I’m still getting pulled into these. The past 2 have been excellent. I like a book that makes me make time to read it. Book count: 33/50 — 66% Pages in book:

2005: #31 – H is for Homicide (Sue Grafton)

April 26, 2005January 14, 2021

Book #31 was H is for Homicide, the 8th book in Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone/Alphabet series. I have to give this one a thumbs up. I think it was actually one of the better books in the series. Really sucked me in towards the end! I like a book that I have a hard time putting down. Book count: 31/50 — 62% Pages in book:

2005: #20 – G is for Gumshoe (Sue Grafton)

March 13, 2005January 14, 2021

Book #20 was G is for Gumshoe, the 7th book in Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone/Alphabet series. This one was a big improvement over the last. Not much more to say than that… Although, I think at this rate, maybe 100 books in a year is a better goal for me. Book count: 20/50 — 40% Page count: 5,928/15,000 — 39.52%

February 27, 2005January 14, 2021

Book #15 was the 6th book in Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone/Alphabet series, F is for Fugitive. I didn’t think this book was as good as the previous ones. There seemed to be a lot of emphasis on the setting, it was really slow going (I think I was over halfway through before there was a real clue), and the time line got confusing somewhere in

I really liked the heart of this book. I loved April and her unapologetic geekiness, and I liked what Dade has to say about body positivity, and that she wrote a male protagonist that walks the talk. What I wasn’t expecting was just how detailed into the fanfiction subculture this was going to go. It’s one of the few times I’ve started a book and
