Reading Pretty Little Mistakes is like reading a series of short stories. Unfortunately, I found it to be more of a novelty than a novel. I read through 5 or 6 storylines before I got bored.  Since I died rather horribly each time (twice in a plane crash!), I thought it was a bit depressing.  I think she should have mixed a few more happy endings in, and maybe made some of the stories go on longer.  I read it looking for the nostalgia of the Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books I read as a kid, but it didn’t do it for me. Back onto PaperbackSwap it goes!

You know, I haven’t touched my kindle yet, I think I’m saving it for late night reading. It’ll be hard to figure out how many pages I’ve read on it, I hadn’t thought of that before! Love your site, happy readings!

What I’m doing to estimate for the Kindle is to look up the page count of the book on Amazon and then using the percentage marker on the Kindle to estimate. Who knows how accurate it is!

Pretty Little Mistakes sounds like a book I should ignore. I would love to find a choose-your-adventure book for adults. You’re on a roll!

I know, I had such high hopes for it. Maybe someday I’ll find a good one.

I thought Pretty Little Mistakes was a fun book but you definitely have to take it in the spirit in which it’s written. It’s like a choose-your-own-adventure for chicklit readers. 🙂

I’m so impressed that you’ve read 3 books today! I don’t think I’ve ever done that. Keep up the good work!

    The reading will stop
    Tomorrow
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
your book count will be higher
    Just keep thinking about tomorrow
all the great books you will have to talk about
    with your blog friends
If you get blurred or sore, or sleepy
    Just stick up your chin
    and grin
    and say
My TO BE READ PILE, Tomorrow
will be smaller than it was before
    and your spirits will soar
because then TOMORROW, TOMORROW You can go shopping TOMORROW at Amazon and BUY SOME MORE!

    😀 lol
