Book #50 was The Hostile Hospital, the 8th book in Lemony Snicket’s Series of Unfortunate Events. I *finally* finished listening to this in the car last night. I’m glad he’s continued to shake up the pattern of events in the book. The end of this one was the best cliffhanger yet. I think this may have been the longest book so far. Book count: 50

Book #49 was All That Remains, the 3rd book in Patricia Cornwell’s Kay Scarpetta series. It’s interesting to read these early books in the series after reading a lot of the later ones. Book #48 was Seduced by Moonlight, the 3rd book in Laurell K. Hamilton’s Meredith Gentry series. I was in the library, once more looking for Narcissus in Chains (the catalog says it’s in, where is it?? How can it be missing from both libraries?), and noticed this one on the shelf. Impulse read! Book #47 was Into Thin Air, by Stan Washburn. This was one of the paperbacks I inherited from my dad, who inherited it from my aunt. I hadn’t read anything by this author before, but I’m always up for new mysteries. It was pretty good. Not so good that I plan to add any of his other books to my already too-long list, but good
