2009: #Readathon – Hours 3-6

Things went a little pear-shaped after 10am.  I spent about 20 minutes blogging and catching up on stuff in my reader.  Then read for a while.  Then had to go wake up Scott (had to know what time he needed to go to Blacksburg), then had to shower and dress and play chauffeur.  And when I got home, I figured I might as well make lunch.  Which brings me to now!  I’m going to make my rounds through the blogs again, and then jump back in.

Title of book(s) read since last update:

  • How to Say Goodbye in Robot by Natalie Standiford (90 pgs – finished)
  • Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott (10 pgs – on 54/237)
  • The Ultimate Weight Loss Solution by Dr. Phil (6 pgs – on 72/282)
  • Olive Kitteridge by Elizabeth Strout (30 minutes of audio)

Number of books finished since you started: 1
Pages read since last update: 106 + 30 minutes audio
Running total of pages read since you started: 246 + 30 minutes audio
Amount of time spent reading since last update: 1hr 40min
Running total of time spent reading since you started: 3hrs 25min
Mini-challenges completed: Where in the World is the Read-a-Thon?
Prize you’ve won: none yet

As you can see, I finished How to Say Goodbye in Robot, which I thought was quite good (with a caveat that I’ll cover when I review it).  Next I’m going to start The Maze Runner by James Dashner, because I’ve heard so much about it!
