Laid Bare:

It’s been ten years since clean-cut, sexy-as-hell police officer Todd Keenan had a white-hot fling with wild, uninhibited rocker Erin Brown. What happened between them got under his skin—even if love wasn’t in the cards just yet…

Now that they’re back together, picking up where they left off is tough in light of Erin’s troubled past. As Todd earns her trust, their relationship takes an unexpected turn. Todd’s best friend, Ben, comes to play, arousing their deepest fantasies. The passion they share transforms Erin, but it may not be enough to face the evil she thought she had left behind.

Coming Undone:

After his parents’ death, Brody gave up a promising career to care for his family. Now, with his siblings grown, Brody owns his own business, and for the first time in years he’s alone. Elise has come to Seattle with her daughter to find peace. After years as a world-famous ballerina-and trapped in a marriage gone bad-she’s looking for neither love nor attention. But she finds both in the handsome, honest man who befriends her with no strings attached.

Brody and Elise discover in each other the wild, physical passion they need. But it’ll take a shadow from Elise’s past to make them look beyond what they need-to what they truly desire.

Inside Out:

In the wake of an attack that left her nearly dead, Ella Tipton has spent each day putting her life back together. She doesn’t have any room for romance, but that doesn’t mean she has to stop admiring the scenery.

Sexy security professional Andrew Copeland is no stranger to women, but he knows Ella is something different. Determined to get her to let him in, Andy does the one thing he can think of to get close: he offers her hands-on training in self-defense-and before long, all that skin on skin contact with have them both turning inside out.

My thoughts:

This Brown Siblings series is a little more risque than Dane’s Chase Brothers series. While the Chase Brothers books are mostly conventional romance with some explicit sex, these books are closer to erotica. Lots of sex, with forays into S&M, and in the first one, a MMF relationship. But, hiding behind all the sex is a decent story, where the characters have deeper issues to deal with than who’s going to be on top this time. I think Dane is my new go-to author if I’m looking for this type of book.

  • “The only reason I am not rating this book higher is because I find Lauren gets so serious with all the friends being friends and the conversation can be, well, serious.” — Novels on the Run
