2010: #Readathon – Check-in #2

I’ve made a little bit of progress in the last few hours.  Not too bad, considering I spent a good part of the 2nd half of the football game with my eyes closed.

I finished off Morrigan’s Cross, roughly 18 pages.  I’m not the biggest fan of Nora Roberts’ supernatural work, so it was really just okay.  Nice for quick reading, though.  I’ve also made a little more progress in Tapestry of Love, 37 pages. As you see, I’m not the fastest, nor the most focused, reader around. My totals for the day so far are:

  • Morrigan’s Cross – 32 pages
  • Tapestry of Love – 41 pages
  • Don’t Look Down – 1 hour

I think my next plan of attack is to read more of Tapestry of Love. And be a good girl and turn off the TV when I’m done with the game (any minute now). When I get tired of reading with my eyes, I think I may turn the audio book back on and get some cataloguing done. I’ve a mind to catalogue my e-books in my LibraryThing account. Hopefully I don’t need to go pick up Scott — he should be able to get a ride back home, and then they’ll be in the basement brewing beer for a few hours.  And out of my hair Smile

Happy reading!

Just found your blog and thought I’ll wish you good luck with the read-a-thon. Nora Roberts is good read-a-thon food I think. Easy to read, and still interesting.

Hope you get some more done. Good luck with the cataloguing!

Seems like we’re all such multi-taskers huh? Been cooking and reading and posting and cheering and thinking about sleeping. (wow, that’s a lot of “ing”‘s)

I like it when someone has a Plan of Attack. Keep it up!

@Iris – you know the only regret I have about cheering for folks is not knowing more about the books they are reading. I’m glad you’re around to lend a helping hand that way! 🙂

I can suggest what to eat and drink though: speaking of which…time to get me another something.
