Book #26 was The Sigma Protocol by Robert Ludlum. This is the first Ludlum book I’ve read, and I enjoyed it, for the most part. It had a little bit too much bad guy monologing that I tended to skim, but I got the jist of it. I like spy/espionage/intrigue stories, and Ludlum is one of the best. Book count: 26/50 — 52% Pages in

Book #23 was Blue Gold, by Clive Cussler. Instead of the usual Cussler protagonist, Dirk Pitt, this book is the second in a series focusing on a new hero, Kurt Austin. Book 18 was the 9th book in James Patterson’s Alex Cross series, The Big Bad Wolf. This was one of the better Patterson books I’ve read lately. He seemed to be back in old form. I’m hoping the follow-up, London Bridges, is as good. Book count: 18/50 — 36% Page count: 5,341/15,000 — 35.6%

Book 17 was the 3rd book in John Lescroart’s Dismas Hardy series, The Hearing. I really enjoy Lescroart’s books. This is a series I’ve been reading out of order, so unfortunately I already know the fate of some of the characters. But, it doesn’t really matter.
