Welcome 2008!

Here we are in another year!  I reached a new all-time high in my reading last year, 136 books.  I think matching that this year should not be a problem.  As a start, I’m going to join Crystal’s Winter Blues 2008 Reading Challenge.  The challenge runs until March 15th, and I’ve been struggling with how many books to put on my list!  Last year I had read 30 by that date, but I don’t want to lock myself in to that many books.  I think I’ll go ahead and pick 15.

Here they are, in no particular order:

  1. Lord John and the Private Matter – Diana Gabaldon
  2. Gone – Lisa Gardner
  3. The Ice Queen – Alice Hoffman
  4. Nineteen Minutes – Jodi Picoult
  5. The Copenhagen Connection – Elizabeth Peters
  6. Sick Puppy – Carl Hiaasen
  7. Salem Falls – Jodi Picoult
  8. Caught Stealing – Charlie Huston
  9. Quakertown – Lee Martin
  10. Mirror Image – Sandra Brown
  11. Loyalty in Death – J.D. Robb
  12. Paradise City – Lorenzo Carcaterra
  13. Little Children – Tom Perrotta
  14. Low Country – Anne Rivers Siddons
  15. Prior Bad Acts – Tami Hoag

Happy reading in 2008!
