2008: The Sunday Salon – The Stuck in Traffic Edition

The length of this entry is going to depend entirely upon how long it takes before I get tired of typing with one finger on my phone. Yes, we are on our way home from Baltimore, and though we got through DC with no problems, I-81 is being less friendly.

I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving! Ours was good, and pretty relaxing. I finished three books , finished knitting the body and one sleeve of a baby sweater for my nephew, and won $16 off my in-laws playing poker. Is that bad form?

The books I finished and will be reviewing shortly were The Dirty Secrets Club by Meg Gardiner, Deja Dead by Kathy Reichs, and Swallowing Darkness by Laurell K. Hamilton. In my lap at this moment is The Quickie by James Patterson, which I never intended to read, but I rarely turn down a free read (from my mother-in-law) and I’ll probably have it finished before we get home.

I’ve got some fairly large plans for this blog in the near future, including a redesign. Topics for a future TSS!

And now, I think my poor finger has had enough. Have a great week of reading!
