2008: The Sunday Salon – Sunday #9

I might as well get used to the fact that this is going to be the “every-other-Sunday” Salon.  I don’t know why it works out that way, it just does!  I’ve actually finished several books in the last two weeks, all of them fairly good…

I also added a few books to my library, specifically the first three books in P.J. Parrish’s Louis Kincaid series, And Only to Deceive by Tasha Alexander, and The Attack by Yasmina Khadra. These were all courtesy of PaperbackSwap.

I’m thisclose to finished with listening to The Chocolate Chip Cookie Murder, which I’m enjoying much more than I expected to!  I was a bit worried that it would be too tame considering I’d recently finished with Before I Wake, but instead I find it funny and charming. Once I finish that I’ll be starting Third Degree by Greg Iles. As for physical books, tonight I’ll start Dark of the Moon by P.J. Parrish. I also still have a stack of library books to read, most of them for The Daring Book Challenge.

Finally, don’t forget to enter my Matrimony giveaway!  I’ll be picking a winner sometime tomorrow.

Definitely no Sunday Salon post for me next week.. we’re taking a weekend trip to Gatlinburg, TN for our anniversary and plan to do some hiking and cheesy tourist activities. Happy reading!
